Paris Saint Germain are making a name for themselves in the Ligue 1 and Champions league. With newly acquired player Zlatan Ibrahimavic leading the way. In the Ligue 1, PSG are leading Lyon in goal difference (24-16) both at 38 points. In the UEFA Champions League, the Parisians have reached the knockout stages with a pretty easy fixture, as they are playing Valencia in the round of 16. The team, with players like Lavezzi, Pastore and Thiago have little room for improvement. As one of the richest clubs in the world, PSG with a few tweaks may be able to win against teams like Manchester United. Already into the Champions League knockout stage, the Parisians have enough potential in my opinion, to reach/win the final match. In ligue 1 in my opinion they are by far the best team competing. Some People say that the 2012 Paris Saint Germain is the best french club in history. That could be true. The french club with a total of 12 goals in the last 4 Ligue 1 games with the opposing side totaling at 0 goals.
Snoop Dogg, Hip Hop superstar has been rumored to be buying Celtic FC. Snoop Dogg with over 100 million $ is trying to buy Celtic FC. After a concert in Celtic FC, he is interested in using the stadium to do more concerts. Or maybe just 'cause he wants more stuff. No one knows really why Snoop Dogg wants Football Club Celtic. Celtic players and coach/manager aren't really happy about this. But they aren't the most annoyed by this. Some fans are raging. Though Snoop Dogg is buying Celtic, It's not effecting Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premier League Table.
The blues aren't looking very happy right now, even after Frank Lampard on his 501st appearance for Chelsea, led the blues into a 2-1 comeback against Everton and before a 8-0 win against Aston Villa with 7 different people scoring in one game. Chelsea's Fernando Torres is also preforming well but not enough to help. Even with all the good happening they also have things they have to worry about. Even with a 5 game winning streak, Tottenham Hotspur have pulled a 1-point lead over Chelsea pushing Chelsea down into 4th place. 2 points over rivals Arsenal. If Chelsea wins the next game, and Tottenham loses or draws the next game, Chelsea will be back in third place. With a 3 easy matches coming up (against QPR, Southampton, and slightly harder Stoke City) will make it easier for the blues to catch up before they play rivals Arsenal.
Some slightly bad news for Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez. Daniel Sturridge is making plans with Liverpool Manager Brendon Rodgers (as Rodgers deal with Demba Ba broke down) and will probably seen in a Liverpool jersey soon. Liverpool are paying 21 million dollars for Sturridge. Brendon Rodgers is getting ready to switch the formation to a 4-4-2 or 4-2-2-2 being almost certain the 23 year old striker is coming to Liverpool. Sturridge played next to Luis Suarez will strengthen Liverpool's offense. Though Sturridge is not part of his plans with strikers Fernando Torres, Lucas Piazon, and Lukaku (on loan), losing Sturridge will be one less striker. In my opinion, Sturridge is the second best striker on Benitez's team. Sturridge will most likely be in a red jersey soon.
Arsenal under command by manager Arsene Wenger are slowly climbing up the Barclays Premier league table coming from 8th place to 5th place in 3 games. The most recent game Arsenal crushed Newcastle United 7-3. After a thought to be close game, the gunners took the game their way. Theo Walcott speedster of Arsenal, scored a hat trick on what potentially be Walcott's last game at Arsenal. To Wenger's liking, Walcott says he's not going anywhere. The Gunners, with 17 games to go, are only 2 points under rivals Chelsea and ahead of Everton and West Bromwich on goal difference. Walcott's contract has expired and is looking though, to stay at Arsenal. The last 2 games before Newcastle (against Wigan and Reading), came out 1-0 and 5-2 in favor of Arsenal. With the next two games easy match ups against Southampton and Swansea City Arsenal will be climbing more and more up the table. Arsenal then will be matched up with champions Manchester City and Rivals Chelsea. Giroud helping in the most recent game, with a goal and 2 assists keeping his starting spot, as Wenger could put Podolski in the CF position and put Alex Oxlade Chamberlain in the LW spot.
Demba Ba, leader of Newcastle United has announced he wants to leave Newcastle. Though Ba has announced to the fans he will leave Magpies manager Alan Pardew is determined to (if he has to), give away Ba for a big price. What better price than to get a quality striker in return. Pardew is looking to get a trade for Liverpool striker Andy Carroll. Ba is keen with the idea to wear a Liverpool jersey. Ba is fine with the Liverpool competition Luis Suarez. Or Brendon Rodgers may switch to a 4-4-2 which Demba Ba would be very comfortable with seeing that is the formation he is used in Newcastle United. As of Carroll, he spends most of his time in other clubs, loaned out from Liverpool. Even though these players are fine with the deal, how will this effect Liverpool/Newcastle? Leave a comment.
Real Madrid, La Liga favorites aren't having the best time going into the January Transfer Window. The whites are in third place with a 16 point gap with its first place rivals, FC Barcelona. If you are a angry Madrid fan out there, here is one reason you would think this occurred. Jose Mourinho has benched goalkeeper Iker Casillas. In not just mine but in many other people opinions, Casillas is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. But crazy manager Mourinho he's not.
Another loss happened recently for the Whites. In their last game, they played Malaga. Who's going to win? Easy right? No. Malaga took the game 3-2. Does that make any sense? No.*

Aston Villa suffered a hard hit in the premier league the last few games. After a triumphant win against Liverpool, Aston Villa lost bad. Aston Villa has let in 13 goals in the last 3 games .They conceded 1 against Liverpool, 4 against Tottenham Hospur (Spurs), and finally the worst beating of all, Aston Villa suffered a 8-0 loss to the blues. Aston Villa has dropped down to 16 place in the table with only 18 games to go. The 2011 steal of goalkeeper Shay Given from Man City is not putting an impact on the team. In these last few games, it didn't look like there was a goalie there at all. Aston Villa are looking to make a comeback against Wigan on saturday.
Manchester United fans are probably some of the happiest people in the world right now. Man U are going smoothly in the Barclays Premier League. United has a 7-point gap with 2nd place rivals, Manchester City. The day after Christmas the devils had a dramatic victory against Newcastle 4-3 while City lost 1-0 to Sunderland. Robin van Persie, team leader led them through against Newcastle, with 26 appearances and 23 goals already in his Manchester United career.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Portuguese star, has announced that he wants to leave Madrid. If he does, as Jose Mourhino knows, Real will be in big trouble. With many other left wingers, Real still won't be able to replace Ronaldo. What does this have to do with United you might ask? Ronaldo might be going back to Man U. Even after Man U sold Ronaldo to Madrid for 157 million dollars, Man U might be taking him back. (For Ronaldo's words see later in the article.)
Another target for Man U in the January Transfer Window is Polish Striker Robert Lewandowski. Even though Dortumnd manager Jurgen Klopp doesn't like the idea, after the devils took his midfield star Shinji Kagawa he isn't to happy about his main goalscorer leaving, Lewandowski is pretty keen on the idea. Alex Ferguson is really determined on getting Lewandowski in a red jersey. With Lewandowski and Ronaldo, Ferguson's front line will be complete. With world class players on the bench, Man U's attack will be unstoppable.

Neymar De Santos, Brazilian 20 year old has won the 2012 Player of the year award. He is also featured in the young and regular team of the year. The Brazilian youngster already has 202 appearances and 123 goals in his 4 year club career. Brazil, soccer, amazing, does that remind you of something? It reminds me of something. Pele. Arguably, the best player ever to set foot on a soccer field. Once Neymar gets to his prime, almost nothing will be able to stop him. He has been making harder competition for Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. If you ask me, Neymar is the better even against C.Ronaldo.
